When you call, email or visit our branches, we ask you for, and collect, personal information such as name, contact details, vehicle registration and other relevant information to send you service reminders, feedback surveys, occasional news, communication material and special offers tailored to your interests. We gather information to allow us to develop, tailor, and deliver our experience, to inform our marketing activity and to keep you updated about our business.
When you visit our website, we may collect your personal information to help us analyse website traffic patterns, understand your interests and personalise our interactions. All the personal information we collect is kept in a secure database. VTNZ including our employees and agencies are the recipient of the information you provide. We may share this information with other third parties that work on our behalf to deliver our services to you. This includes:
• Targeted advertising across social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), Google Analytics and Google Ads Manager
• Feedback collected through our customers experience platform, Inmoment
• Digital vouchers purchased via Shopify
• Bookings made through our Appointy system
VTNZ uses the software services of Appointy for customers who are interested in making bookings appointments for vehicle safety inspections. In accordance with Appointy Terms of Service and Data Processing Addendum, Appointy may access Customer Data only for the purpose of providing the booking service or preventing or addressing service or technical problems or as may be required by law.
VTNZ acknowledges that Customers have a right to access their Personal Information. If Personal Information pertaining to you as a customer has been submitted to Appointy and you wish to exercise any rights you may have to access, correct, amend, or delete such data, then please contact our Data Protection and Privacy Officer who can manage this on your behalf. Appointy personnel have limited ability to access data we submit to them as our data processor.
