Vehicle Licensing means paying a fee to use your vehicle on public roads. This is the label that is displayed at the bottom left of your windscreen. Most vehicles in New Zealand must be registered and display a valid Vehicle Licence (also known as rego).
Why not renew your Vehicle Licence (Rego) while you’re getting your WoF? Our staff can help you save time by lining up your WoF and Rego renewal dates so you can get them all sorted at once – just ask them.
NZTA will send you a renewal notice in the mail, four weeks before your rego expires. This includes information about the costs and your options.
You can also find out what the new cost of your rego is at rightcar.govt.nz, by entering your licence plate number.
