Having won the award last year, we at VTNZ are thrilled to be a finalist for the 2015 IBM Kenexa Awards. We are pleased to see our survey results show engagement within the company places us amongst the best in the country. Being nominated as a finalist for the third year running is a testament to the passion and commitment our people have for VTNZ.
VTNZ will compete against fellow finalists Flight Centre (NZ) and Warehouse Stationary to take out the prestigious Best Workplaces Award for the Enterprise category. The winner will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 5 November in Auckland.
The annual survey identifies the best places to work in New Zealand, as rated by employees.
Over 30,000 employees from 193 organisations, across both private and public sectors, participated in 2015, providing their perceptions of their workplace, leaders, and aspects of their employment.
This year, 41 companies have reached finalist status across five categories; Small, Small-Medium, Medium-Large, Large and Enterprise.
Participating organisations ask their employees to complete a confidential survey about their workplace between May and August.
“Achieving finalist status in the IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces Awards is a tangible measure of employee engagement and has become New Zealand’s most definitive measure of ‘employer of choice’ claims,” says Leighton Abbot, Senior Consultant, IBM Smarter Workforces, New Zealand.
