Customer Service Representatives are the front line of VTNZ and are focused on providing our customers with a great service experience. They enjoy working with a wide range of people, understanding how they can help our customers and offering services that meet their needs.
VTNZ provides comprehensive training and support for our Customer Service Representative team. You will build your understanding of a range services including vehicle licensing, registration and driver testing as well as our full range of assessment services.
VTNZ has branches all over New Zealand so there are positions available in many locations around the country. There is also the opportunity to expand your career with positions available in technical support, driver testing and people management.
Passing your practical driver’s test is an important milestone for many Kiwis. At VTNZ our Driver Testing Officers understand the significance of this event and are committed to making the experience as stress free as possible so potential drivers can do their best. Driver Testing Officers assess driving competency for a full range of types and classes of licences including restricted and full, motorcycle, heavy vehicle and car.
To become a Driver Testing Officer you will need to become an expert on the road code. VTNZ will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support. We have Driver Testing Officers based all around the country so there are opportunities at many different locations.
VTNZ Branch Managers provide leadership at our branches across New Zealand. They support the team to help our customers keep safe and road ready. They have a wide range of responsibilities including customer service, team motivation, team management and service delivery, to ensure the branch and its staff achieve its business targets.
There is variation in branch sizes and services offered around the country so Branch Manager roles vary. People management and customer service skills are essential for all roles. In some branches a background as a mechanic with the required pre-requisites to become an Automotive Technician is also essential.
VTNZ will provide you training to become an Automotive Technician where required. We also have a comprehensive management development programme to assist your development.
There are Branch Manager roles available around the country and there is also the opportunity to expand your career with technical and operational management positions.
